Our formulation policy has not changed, so we still adhere to the highest standards in formula development and do not add harsh chemicals to our products. However, new EU regulations prohibit the use of "free of" claims on product packaging. Alterna Caviar products are sold worldwide, and we must comply with the regulations of all countries. Therefore, we have decided to remove the "free of" claims from our packaging. In non-EU countries, such as the USA or Asian countries, similar claims can still be found in other materials, such as brochures or our website.
What preservatives are used in Caviar Anti-Aging Professional Styling products if not parabens?
We use a wide range of preservatives including phenoxyethanol, sodium benzoate, and potassium sorbate.

All products undergo three-year accelerated stability testing, so it is 36 months.
